- What are your kabinets made of?
Our kabinets are made of a combination of engineered wood items like MDF (medium density fiberboard) and pressboard. This construction makes our cabinets light enough to ship, but strong enough to last a lifetime and since the material is all recycled wood the cabinets are environmentally friendly.
- Do you sell direct from your factory in Elkhorn?
No we do not sell direct to consumer. You need to buy from one of our authorized dealers listed on our site here, in the Where to Buy Section.
- Will my machine fit in your kabinet opening?
To determine this please visit the Product page on the site. At the bottom of each description a list of measurements appears with the width and length or depth measurements of the opening. Measure your machine left to right (wide) and front to back (length). If your machine's measurements are under the measurements listed for the kabinet you want, your machine should fit. If either measurement is over your sewing machine will not fit.
- What is your warranty?
Please see the Warranty section on this site under the Contact Us section for details on the warranty, but all product has 1 year.
- Will the kabinet arrive assembled?
We offer 2 pricing options, one RTA (ready to assemble) where the customer will receive boxes via UPS and will need to fully assemble the kabinet using a hammer and screwdriver or a higher price point where the kabinet can be delivered fully assembled.
- Are your kabinets made in Australia?
Parts of our kabinets are made in Australia, but the majority of the components are made in China. All concepts and original designs originated "down under", thus our boxes are labeled "Made in China, born in Australia".
- Can I buy a custom insert to fill the gap around my machine?
Yes custom inserts are available for all Kangaroo Kabinets, please ask the dealer to purchase an insert for the kabinet you bought. The dealer will need to know the name brand and model number of your sewing machine to complete the order. Since inserts are custom made they take 3-4 weeks to make.
- How do I adjust the airlift mechanism?
Please see the demo in our videos section.
